The urge to take a basic Jimmy Buffett tailgating experience to a new level was born. What began as a Tiki Bar, sand, and professional audio has grown to include a full stage, prize wheel, 1500lbs of sand, 100 VIP guests, live musical performances, big screen appearances, a Foam machine, this website, a shot board, and a logo.
Its a simple concept spurred from my head but created to share with everyone. I've created an expectation. Together, we've created the stuff of Legend.
Many people help create this event and experience - My wife, Captain Andy, Mike my parents for watching the kids and YOU! The contributions grow every year and its because the idea of bringing a good time to an event and spreading the responsibility makes sense.

Returning to Tinley Park was never part of the plan ... But on June 30th ... We're gonna bring it!
We are returning to our roots ... 6 years ago we brought the Parrot Dice Lounge to the parking lot of the First Midwest Bank Amphitheater. It grew from 15 to 30 to 67 (at Toyota Park) to 119(@TP) to 127(@TP). It grew beyond our wildest dreams! In 2006 we charged nothing. We caravaned into the parking lot at 1pm together with a small sound system, an Ipod playlist, Matt and Captain Andy and a prize wheel. This year we will do it again.
There will not be a Parrot Dice Lounge like you may have known in recent years. No we are changing with the venue . . .
Due to the venue change there is no large space for the Parrot Dice Lounge to set up with large canopies and a large grill. Parking lots won't open until around 2pm or 3pm and space will be limited to whats behind your car and the cars of those that drive in with us. Due to all of this we are returning to our roots - We will have a sound system. We will have a prize wheel. We will have Jello Shots. We will have music (perhaps live and DJ) We will have some sand and we will have a great time!
What does this mean for you? What do you want it to mean? Was it over when the German's bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell NO! And it ain't over now.
Be sure to like the Parrot Dice Lounge on Facebook to keep track of details and watch this website. We will coordinate a group to go into the parking lot together gathering us as much space as we can. You will need to bring your own food and drink and anything else you feel you want to. We should have a couple of grills available to grill on if needed.
